All gardeners are required to renew their plots before 31 January 2020 to continue to hold their garden plots. The gate code to the garden will be changed on 31 January 2020 and will be sent to only those gardeners who complete the renewal process.

When will you receive the gate code?
If you have completed the renewal process and have no pending work hours remaining, the gate code will be emailed to you when the garden committee gets the gate code from the village office.
If you have completed the renewal process and have pending work hours remaining, your pending hours will be added to the volunteer hour requirement for 2020. The gate code will be emailed to you only after you attend one work party or commit to an independent project. Work parties will be held whenever we have volunteers to host them. Independent projects have to be requested via email to [email protected]

Plot renewal process involves the following steps:
- Make a payment using the online payment system - the cost of renewal is $15 per plot and there is a $2 processing fee per transaction. Links to the payment system will be made available on this page as soon we receive form them from the village office.
- Read, complete and sign the garden rules form and the garden waiver and drop them off in the village office or the mailbox attached to the main gate of the garden
Important things to note:
- The rules and waiver forms can be downloaded from the garden website and printed. Printed copies can be picked up in the village office
- Renewal status of plots can be tracked on the garden website.
- The village office is processing the forms and will update the online renewal tracker once or twice a week. Plot renewal is not complete until the online tracker indicates that both the payment and forms for your plot have been received and processed by the village staff
- Please note that the garden forms have to be completed legibly and correctly with the correct plot numbers and a wet signature. If you are unsure of your plot number(s) please send an email to [email protected]
- If the online tracker indicates that your forms are not completed correctly, please submit new forms as soon as possible with the necessary corrections
