Independent Project Protocol
Unless specifically stated that you need to meet with a committee member or submit a request to complete a project please do not email informing us of your intentions to complete a project or inquire if the project is still available. The committee does not currently have enough volunteers to reply to these inquiries.
1) Take a before and after picture of the area where you will complete your task to get credit for your work.
2) Send an email to the garden committee including the subject title: Independent project with your plot number, attach pictures with the name of the project and any additional information you think we should know.
3) The listed amount of hours for each project will be added to your total hours. The number of hours/Mins you receive for each project will be based on the after picture you send in.
You can get 1.5-2 hours if you lay cardboard over a cleared plot (project plots listed below) . Cardboard must have tape and staples removed and be plain not glossed. You can weigh this down with stones, logs or bricks.
Hours are given based of the quality of work, If you complete the project completely you can get the full amount listed.
