Who We Are
The Garden Committee is made up of a diverse group of volunteers that work side by side with UC officials to maintain the UC village community garden. Our mission is to enable UC affiliates access to growing healthy, organic, urban agriculture at an affordable price and to help strengthen and build relationships in and around the UC village.
We welcome individuals who have a special skill or knowledge they would like to share with garden members to join the garden committee. It is not necessary to have a garden plot, live in the UC village or be affiliated with the UC to be on the garden committee.
Currently the Committee (volunteer led) needs more volunteers to help run the garden. We work together to handle issues based on each member's expertise. We are trying our best to clean up the garden and would love any additional support. Please help us keep the garden running and open.
